What Drew Me to LitRPG
I grew up reading Fantasy and Science Fiction — David Gemmell, Ursula K. Le Guin, Robert Jordan, Arthur C. Clarke, Iain Banks. Big worlds, complex characters, the kind of stories that stick with you for years.
LitRPG found me later. I kept seeing Cradle recommended in every fantasy forum I visited, finally gave in, and understood immediately why people wouldn't stop talking about it. The progression, the power scaling, the way Lindon's journey felt genuinely earned — I was hooked.
From there it was a short road to cultivation novels, progression fantasy, and eventually the itch to write something myself. Ghost of the Truthseeker started as an experiment on Royal Road and turned into three published books with a fourth on the way. If you're new to the genre, there's never been a better time to dive in.
